Founder and Principal Designer
“I don’t necessarily want the biggest projects, I want the challenges. I’m always looking for the next challenge. Some day I’ll sit back and relax, but until then I’ll keep looking for the next problem to solve.”
Throughout his career, Chris has sought out challenges. A quintessential problem solver, Chris thrives on finding and creating solutions that bring his client’s vision to life.
After graduating from the University of Massachusetts Lowell with a degree in Civil Engineering, Chris went on to work with some of the top names in metalworking in New England. From his start with Mill City Iron Works while still in college, to stints with New Hampshire Steel Fabricators and Cape & Island Steel, Chris gained exposure to all aspects of the metal business – from drafting and fabrication to project and office management. It’s this broad based experience that gave him a unique perspective that drove the founding of Modern Metal Solutions.
Chris uses his experiences and problem-solving drive to bring a holistic, consultative approach to every project. It’s his commitment to old world craftsmanship and quality, combined with a truly collaborative, high-touch approach, that ensures that each and every project delivers on the designer’s original intent.
“Delivering the typical is easy, it’s the details that make the difference between acceptable and extraordinary. We strive to elevate each project and raise the bar for our clients. We will never sacrifice quality for efficiency.”
